Pink has always been one of my favorite colors. My notebooks, phone cases, nails and every thing else are typically pink but my outfits, NEVER. You literally could not pay me to wear the color….until now!
Here I decided to step out of my neutral comfort zone and went with a mauve pink outfit. When it comes to wearing pink, I think I will stick to the mauve side of the color spectrum instead of a true pink. This color compliments my skin tone much better than a true barbie pink or even a hot pink. – I think this is important when deciding to wear one color head to toe, make sure the color compliments you.
Wearing a one color look (other than black) is the easiest way to make a statement. For clarification this outfit is not a set, its actually separates that I paired together one day while in Zara. I paired my trusty turtleneck and culotte monochromatic look in pink because I can’t step out of my comfort zone all at once haha. I’m actually not opposed to color blocking, I just happen to think its super chic to keep the focus on one color and then accessorize.Personally my go to accessory is a bold shoe, so I decided to top off the look with snake print booties. Any type of animal print automatically spices up a look, snake just happens to be my all-time fav!
