In 2015, I swear I spotted almost every fashionista I follow in a tuxedo dress at least once. The trend was super big during the Autumn/Winter season, worn by a multitude of celebrities, and I just had to join the club. I genuinely enjoy the silhouette of a crisp, fitted suit or tux anyway, so I knew this trend would be right up my alley.
Typically you’ll see a tuxedo dress that is long sleeved, structured and more fitted to the body. I wanted to switch it up a bit and go with a more casual, everyday tuxedo dress and stumbled across this one from Mango. I decided to go with this one because I love the details of this dress. First of all, its super airy which is perfect for spring, I adoreeee the double breasted details, and to top it off it cinches in at the waist with a tie detail which spares me from looking like the karate kid lol.
I finished the look with some simple black heeled sandals with a silver hardware strap and headed to the park. Hope you guys enjoy!
